21st Century Human Questionnaire

Published March 4th 2026 --- Site Home --- Blog Home

this questionnaire was designed by biomechabug. I haven't filled out something like this in a while and I think they're very fun so I figured this would be a good place to do it.

1. What's your name? How old are you? How would you describe yourself?

Keegan Nuclearblues, big 19, just a fella.

2. What was your upbringing like?

Not white-picket-fence but not particularly unusual either. two parents, both were quite young when I was born, lots of baggage from the military. my mother enrolled in college when I was 5 and it was just us for a bit so I spent a lot of my early years quietly sitting in evening lecture halls. we were poor growing up but my parents cared and I was always provided for. I did well in school academically but very poorly socially on account of autism that went unnoticed until I was 14. I spent a lot of time reading, drawing, and hanging out in the woods. I lived near a library and my mom and I would walk there once a week. anything I wanted to read but couldn't check out with my children's card she'd check out for me. as such I was a very morbid and curious child despite being a bit of a wimp and constantly scaring myself by reading horror that I took very seriously.

3. What are your hobbies? How do you like to spend your free time?

I have way too many haha. there's a list on my homepage but the most important to me are probably reading about history, drawing/painting, leatherworking, skateboarding, playing guitar, and analyzing movies, and outdoor activities. and webmaster-ing of course.

4. What kind of music do you like?

punk and various subgenres, new wave, electronic, industrial, hip-hop, soul, some classical, some classic rock, outlaw country. little bit of a lot of things.

5. Favorite movies / TV shows?

I'll just link the nonexhaustive page. too many.

6. Do you like any video games?

some. I'm not very good at them and don't play a lot of them anymore but they interest me. mostly metal gear, fallout, and source engine stuff as well as 90s point-and-click adventure games.

7. Favorite literature? This could be a novel, a book series, a comic, etc.

see the aforementioned media page. I can't really pick any one thing but I love postmodernism and mid-20th century science fiction.

8. How has art affected your life?

it's largely shaped it. I think about everything I see and experience through a lens of art and geometry. experiences are hard to articulate through straightforward language alone, it's much easier to process things abstractly and impressionistically.

9. What are your hopes for the future of humanity?

that the imperialist and nationalist selfish fucks who control everything are left in the past forever. that we are no longer beholden to exploitative systems designed to devalue our labor and humanity. that something as arbitrary as borders ceases to define our worth. that we are allowed to simply exist as we are.

10. Any hopes or aspirations for your own future?

not particularly. I'd like to move out of my parents' house eventually. mostly I just take things day-by-day.

11. If sentient extraterrestrial life were to exist, what would you want to tell them about humanity?

oh boy. that we aren't as inherently destructive as we seem, that a lot of us are truly kind and care. I would love to smoke a j with an alien and then teach them how to kickflip. I know that isn't the question but it feels relevant.

12. Do you currently have / have you had any pets or livestock?

at the moment my family has 4 housecats (pikachu, brisco, ellie, and lizzie), an FPV-positive stray cat who lives on our porch (mac), a labrador retriever (rufus), and a very old chihuahua that was my papaw's dog until he died (bandit). my little sister also has some fish. I love animals very much.

13. How do you hope people remember you?

I'm not sure exactly. hopefully not as an asshole at the very least, even though I'm probably a bit of one.

14. Do you have any advice for younger people?

don't tell the cops anything, tell the paramedics everything. everything gets better eventually, high school ends (thank god).

15. Are you religious?

not particularly. maybe the slightest bit spiritual. if you need a label, agnostic is probably the best. my parents are pagan though so I celebrate a lot of those holidays.

16. What do you think the meaning of life is?

kiss alien.... nah I joke. nothing lofty but I think we're here to love our friends and make art.

17. Do you have any fears?

nuclear bombs? the cia? idk

18. What makes you happy?

good food, the very occasional sunset cigarette, coffee on my porch in the morning. many small things. wikipedia deep dives.

19. What kind of food do you like to eat?

stews and related foods, gigantic sandwiches, baked potatoes, kebabs, rice-based dishes, texmex, venison, indian food, greasy pizza. I like most things.

20. Do you have a favorite animal?

cats, dogs, snakes. my favorite extinct animal is the thylacine, they make me very sad.

21. Do you have a favorite color?

you could probably intuit this by glancing at my site but definitely green. specifically bright and saturated greens. followed by yellow, light blue, and black.

22. What do you wish you had known earlier?

most people in fact do not hate me. YAY! also you don't have to be productive 24/7 and that is actually incredibly bad for you. and societal definitions of success are total bullshit.

that's it for today friends. I also added some more pieces to the art gallery if you'd like to check that out.
